Ever wonder about the Old Testament? Do we as Christians still need this old archaic book? Well here are some thoughts on the necessity of the Old Testament for Christians.
Time to carve up the pumpkin. The kids were much more into it this year than they were last year. We could barely keep Hudson out of it. And of course he kept wanting to stick all the stringy membranes and seeds into his mouth.
Every year since we have had children we have went to some sort of pumpkin patch to pick out our own pumpkin. This year was no different. Of course, the kids had to test out the strength of the pumpkins.
Next we crossed the road and picked us some apples. Everyone picked some apples. I kept trying to get Calvin to look up and smile, but he would not. He kept saying "I busy, I busy. Picking apples Papa, I busy!" Of course, Abby took the time to pose for the camera.
Of course, we couldn't just leave good apples be. The temptation was too great. Part of the fun of picking apples is eating one while you pick. Or in Abby's case taking about two bites out of one apple, picking another taking a few more bites, picking another... you get the idea. I think he likes it!
